- Stylo Seed is a perennial/multi-cut legume fodder crop, like shrubby up to 2 meter tall, well adapted to tropical climate (which normally stay above 18 °C) & drought resistant.
- Stylo Seed requires for line sowing (30 x 15 cm) the seed rate is 3 kg/acre & for Broadcasting 4 kg/acre (Good seed germination).
- Stylo can be planted very densely at the rate of 3000 plants per ha.The tree provides FORAGE, pulp and paper, FOOD, GREEN MANURE and LANDSCAPE DECORATION.
- Stylo seed First harvest for 75-80 days after sowing (when the flowers show up) & subsequent harvest are 40 days once.
- Stylo Green fodder yield is 13-15 t/acre/year in 6-7 cuts; it comes up to 3-3.5 years.
- Stylo seed Used for Green fodder, Silage, Natural protein mix, part of hay to increase body weight of RABBIT, GOAT & SHEEP & increase yield of milk in COW & BUFFALO.
